Im sorry I didnt hear about Rons passing until now, but Ive been away. I cant say I looked forward to having my car break down, but when it did I always looked forward to seeing Ron. He was of perpetual good cheer, it seemed, at least around his customers. He was a bit younger but of the same honorable, gifted generation As Dr. Irving Milberg, who was a mutual friend. I recall once having a gas leak Ron located simply by listening to the engine of my Volkswagon Passat. He had a remarkable instinct that way The mark of a true master mechanic. Its inspiring to be around people who are so good at something, the way Ron was around cars. He was honest to a tee and always willing to help out in whatever way he could. I mentioned one day I was looking for help in moving my wood shop, and he offered up his mechanic also good guys for a couple of hours, at no charge. He was kind and generous that way, always friendly, and he will be sorrily missed. RIP, Ron. You deserve it. T

Truly a respectable man and a gentleman. Through the years Ron has twisted many a wrench on my cars. I never walked away unsatisfied. That is getting harder to come by these days. My sincere condolences to Ron's family and friends. So long old friend. Time marches on.

My thoughts and prayers are with you during this sad time. I admired Ron -- he lived a simple life followinghis head and heart. He was a team player and always thought about others. He was never a politician -- only a Councilman for ALL of the people. You were a great team. Rest in Peace Ron.

Ron was such a wonderful, generous, kind man. Words cannot express how wonderful he was. He was the first friend our family made in Accord after we moved there in 1985. He welcomed us to the area and quickly became a close friend. He was always there to help and lend a hand whenever you needed it or just to cheer you up with his contagious smile! The kindness and friendship he gave our family will never be forgotten. He was much more than a friend to us, he was family. We have such fond memories of both Ron and Kandy. Our heart goes out to Kandy. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.
