Ronald Edward Sprague, Sr

Ronald Edward Sprague, Sr. of Kerhonkson, NY, passed away on Monday, May 9, 2011 at his home after a long illness. He was 70 years old. Ronald was born on October 12, 1940 in Clintondale, NY; he was the son of the late Tremper and Gertrude (Gathen) Sprague.

Mr. Sprague was a member of the Teamsters Union and a manager of ISA of New Jersey

for many years. Ronald was very caring toward other people, putting their needs before his own. He enjoyed fishing and he loved his family very much.

On June 10, 1979 Ronald married Donna Tompkins in Wilton, NY.

In addition to his wife Donna at home, Ronald is survived by his children Ronald Sprague, Jr. of Clintondale, Sherri Van Nostrand of New Paltz, Kelly D’Anci of Clintondale, George Sprague of Highland, Michael Sprague of Attica, Richard Sprague of Kingston and Leonard and Michael Sprague of Kerhonkson, seven grandchildren and one great grandson.

Cremation will be private and at the convenience of the family.
