Stephen Edward Dishek

Stephen Edward Dishek of Stone Ridge, recently of High Falls, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 8, 2012. He was 48 years old. Stephen was born on August 29, 1964 in Ellenville, NY; he was the son of Aslan and Lola (Muchla) Dishek.
Stephen had graduated from Rondout Valley High School. In his younger years he earned the rank of Eagle Scout through the local Boy Scouts. He enjoyed the outdoors and was willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it.
In addition to his parents of Accord, Stephen is survived by his wife Lisa J. Dishek whom he married on June 23, 1985, their children Amanda Dishek of Stone Ridge and Robert Dishek and his companion Kayla Schwall of Kerhonkson, his brother David Dishek and his wife Janice of Virginia and his grandson Tanner Dorman.
Visiting will be held on Tuesday, September 11th from 6-9pm at H.B. Humiston Funeral Home, 30 42nd St., Kerhonkson, NY 12446. A celebration of his life is scheduled for Wednesday 10am at the funeral home with burial following at Benton Bar Cemetery.
