Susanna Erdos

Susanna Erdos of Ellenville, NY, died on Friday, January 22, 2016. She was 91 years old. Susanna was born on January 2, 1925 in Budapest, Hungary and was the daughter of Bela and Margaret (Nyary) Szilagyi.

Susanna worked as a Librarians Assistant for 35 years with the Passaic Reid Memorial Library and Nutley Library before she retired.

Susanna is survived by her loving husband, Lajos Erdos. Her daughter, Susanna Lippoczy Rich and her husband Morton of Blairstown, NJ, and her halfbrother, Alexander Nagy and his wife Barbara.

Susanna was predeceased by her brother, Ferenc Szilagyi.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, January 26th from 3-5 & 7-9pm at HB Humiston Funeral Home, Kerhonkson. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday the 27th at 11am at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Kerhonkson. Burial will be in Bedell Cemetery, Fleischmanns, NY in the spring.
