Theodosia Petryczka of Maine formerly of Kerhonkson, NY, died Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at Woodland Assisted Living of Brewer, ME. She was 87. Mrs. Petryczka was born on June 29, 1924 in Cherson, Ukraine; she was the daughter of John and Christina (Martin) Baran.
Mrs. Petryczka was predeceased by her husband Stephan in 1990.
She is survived by her children Anastasia Petryczka of Searsport, ME and George Petryczka of Yorktown, NY, her grandchildren Katherine and Stephan and her sister Nina in Ukraine.
Visiting will be held on Friday, March 16th from 5-7pm at H.B. Humiston Funeral Home, 30 42nd St., Kerhonkson. The Holy Sacrifice of the Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday, March 17th at 11am at Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church, Kerhonkson. Burial will follow at Pine Bush Cemetery.
