Thomas Louis Maldarelli, Sr

Thomas Louis Maldarelli, Sr. of Accord, NY, passed away on Thursday, October 18, 2012. He was 77 years old. Thomas was born on January 19, 1935 in Manhattan; he was the son of George and Ursula (Burke) Maldarelli.
Mr. Maldarelli served in the Army National Guard before being called to active duty with the United States Army. He was honorable discharged in 1962. Thomas was a retired New York City Fireman and was a life member of the Rondout Valley County Club where he was an avid golfer.
Thomas is survived by his wife Veronica whom he married on August 13, 1971, his children Thomas Maldarelli Jr. and his wife Joan of Newburgh, William Maldarelli and his wife Wendy of Yonkers and Bridget Maldarelli of Saugerties, his brother Patrick Maldarelli of Florida, his grandchildren Thomas III, Jamie, William Jr., Kathleen, Michael and Brendan, and his great-grandchildren Ahmya and Gavyn. Thomas is also survived by five step-children, nine step grandchildren, and two step great-grandchildren.
Mr. Maldarelli was predeceased by his son George and his brothers Louis, George and Joseph.
Visiting will be held Thursday, October 25th from 2-4 & 7-9pm at H.B. Humiston Funeral Home, 30 42nd St., Kerhonkson with a celebration of his life beginning at 8pm. Cremation will be private.
