Travis Michael Roosa

Travis Michael Roosa of Kerhonkson, NY was born November 30, 1992 in Kingston, NY; he was the son of Larry and Laurie Roosa. Travis walked into the loving arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on August 10, 2011 at the age of 18.

Travis graduated Rondout Valley High School and Ulster County Boces Tech Center for Automotive Technology in 2010. He enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and was scheduled to leave for Boot Camp in November. Travis was a member of the Wawarsing Rod and Gun Club. He enjoyed working on cars but most of all he loved being a Dad to his son Kevin who was born on July 14th. Travis was employed by Target in Kingston as a Stock Clerk and had previously worked as a mechanic for Ireland Corners Garage.

In addition to his parents Travis is survived by, his brother Brandyn Roosa, his sister Katie Roosa all of Kerhonkson and his beloved son Kevin Joseph of Accord.

Services honoring his memory will be held at the Evangelical Fellowship Church in Stone Ridge on August 27th between 4:00-6:00pm following a service for those who wish to attend and a pot luck dinner please bring something to share.
