My condolences to to the entire Fieinberg family. I knew Van both before his illness and afterwards as well. I worked with him on the Board of the Kerhonkson Synagogue. He was a kind and generous man. I especially remember the amount of effort he put in as treasurer of the Synagogue. More than once I sat in his kitchen going over the figures of what the Synagogue needed and how we were going to come up with the funds.
Rest in peace Van I will remember you well. Be sure to say hello to Rabbi Alice when your up there.

To the Feinberg family - From my earliest memories of Van calling me "Little Madge" so many years ago (when my mother was the bookkeeper at Kerhonkson Tire) to joking around with him as an adult, Van was always a fun loving spirit who shined brightly wherever he was. It was a privilege to know him. <3
