Edward Bober

Edward Bober, 77 of Accord New York passed away on July 15, 2020 at Health Alliance Broadway Campus in Kingston, NY. He was born on June 27, 1943 in Ellenville, NY.  

Ed was a lifetime resident of Accord.  He retired from IBM after 26 years of service. He was a Bus Driver for Rondout and had his own lawn care business.

Ed is survived by his wife Margaret Bober; daughter Tammy Bober, son, Michael Bober,  granddaughters Amanda and Jessica Sweeney; grandsons, Tanner and Hunter Bober; great grandchildren, Lucas, Emilia and Eloise Acevedo; his brother Robert Bober and his sister Sharon Hornbeck. Several nieces and nephews.

Ed was an avid gardener, outdoorsman, sportsman, baker, and wood craftsman and a devoted family man. He served as Scoutmaster for Boy Scout Troop 21 in Accord for numerous years. 

The family is receiving friends and family at H. B. Humiston Funeral Home in Kerhonkson, New York on Monday, July 20, 2020 between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. and again Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. followed by graveside services at Whitfield Cemetery on Airport Road, Accord, NY.
